Farmar to miss game tonight.

During the 4th quarter, Jordan Farmar entered the locker room, landing awkwardly after a fast break layup. Today he had an MRI that revealed tear in the meniscus of his left knee. He'll fly back to Los Angeles Sunday to be examined by a team doctor on Monday. Word is, he might miss at least the next three games, which is the rest of the whole road trip playing against tonight's team, Orlando, and the back-to-back against Memphis and New Orleans on Monday and Tuesday.

Filling in for Farmar tonight will be shooting guard Sasha Vujacic, who first started playing the point guard position when he entered the Lakers organization as rookie. I feel with our open spot in our roster, the Lakers will make a move to fill in for the point guard position. There has been talk about an acquisition for Stephon Marbury. With his troubles in New York, and his interest in playing for a “playoff, championship caliber team.” Sources declined any discussion to which team he actually wants to play for but didn't "shoot down" teams like Boston, Miami, or our Los Angeles Lakers.

Are we in for another out of the blue trade for the Lakers? Will Mitch pull through another one? I guess we'll have to wait and see.
