LAKERS vs HEAT (POST-GAME REPORT)

LAKERS 87 - HEAT 89

I guess they didn't hear me all too well. Even with the loss, I will say this, I thought we didn't do half bad tonight. I saw a bit of a Zone defense against the Heat. Offensively, we were just mediocre(except for Kobe). You can't blame it all on the 21 turnovers the Lakers had, because they only had 2 more than Miami did with 19. The Lakers were really trying tonight, only Heat was trying allot harder.

You could almost see it in Wade's eyes last night who finished with 35pts, 6rebs, 3asts, 3stls, and 2blks. He wasn't losing the 4th game in a row. Especially when he hit the buzzer beater 3 at the end of the half. If you didn't know why he's the NBA's scoring leader, you knew now after the game. Shawn Marion added 12pts and 11rebs for the Heat, while Beasley only with 6pts and 1 reb. The Heat played 3 centers who only combined for 12pts and 13rebs.

Kobe, who seemed to be the only Laker to get going offensively, put up 28pts, 3rebs, and 3 asts. If only he could have held Wade down like I thought he would. Pau quietly chipped in a double-double with 13pts, and 11 rebs. With the weak centers the Heat had, you would think Bynum put up monstrous numbers. But the man hardly touched the ball! He had 4pts and 6rebs, and both shots we from offensive rebounds he managed to put back into the hoop. I mean damn... did I jinx these guys or something??

All in all, this game was a bit weird. If you took a glance at the box score without looking at the final score, you swear you'd think the Lakers won. I guess the 4th loss doesn't hurt that much as the first 3. Disappointed is all. If only we put in a little more effort, the game would have been ours. But the Lakers can't dwell on this loss, they have Orlando to vent their anger to. And this time with competition in the middle for Andrew, he better show us why he's praised as the next big center in the NBA.
