LAKERS vs BOBCATS (POST-GAME REPORT)

LAKERS 110 - BOBCATS 117

Well, that sucked. After being up 6 in the first overtime I really thought we had the win, but for some reason, the Bobcats really matchup well against us.

Tonight the Lakers fell short of a win against the Bobcats
by 7 points. Kobe tried to do everything he could. 38 points, 8 rebounds and 5 assists. But he fouled out when the team needed him the most, when the final horn sounded. Andrew Bynum had a magnificent night, and showed up when Kobe was sidelined. 24 points on 10-14 shooting, 14 rebounds and 6 blocks. Maybe he's lobbying for an all-star appearance. One thing I have noticed lately is that when Bynum has a big game, Pau doesn't, and vice versa. Well, that was definitely the case tonight. Pau had 10 points and 7 rebounds, but was a horrible 4 of 16? Mr. Efficient, Consistent, Purple Spain come back! We need you now more than ever! I'm looking forward to both of our bigs have extremely big games TOGETHER on the 6 game road trip, let's hope Phil mentions it during practice. D Fish played well with 14 points and 6 assists, but did a horrible job on Raymond Felton, the guy was 1 assist shy from a triple-double. Trevor Ariza wasn't available after suffering a concussion for the first half. He is listed day-to-day and is expected to join the Lakers on the road trip.

It was a great game to attend, but a hard loss to swallow. I guess Michael Jordan finally made some good decisions up there in Charlotte, but I'm pretty sure when Mike's watching next time when the Lakers come to visit, Kobe's going to drop 40 on them and leave with a W. I guarantee he won't foul out. Up next is a big 6 game road-trip ending at Cleveland and Boston, I am confident we will come back with the number one spot in the NBA.
