LAKERS vs HEAT (PRE-GAME REPORT)

In the Last meeting between these two teams, Kobe had a chance to tie the game with a shot up as the time expired, only to have the ball go in and out. Kobe and Wade went back and forth in an effort to win the game for their team. But it was Dwayne Wade's will to win who came out on top and snapped the Heat's 3 game losing streak.

At the time of the last game, the Lakers we all healthy, till of course early in the fourth when Farmar was injured. But could we be able to beat a team who has already beaten us, while we were complete? Of course got dammit!

Here's where I think we went wrong last meeting. First off, the Heat did not have any inside presence, and we failed to feed it to our bigs effectively. Our Offense should begin in the paint(I mean isn't that how the triangle works?) and not to mention, our bigs have been showing up in a big way lately. And secondly, Wade will be Wade and that man will score, but to allow him to drop 35 on us? Blasphemy! Last time I saw a little zone, which is good. But this is where Bynum and Pau really need to step up. Penetration from Wade is inevitable but when he gets in there, Bynum and Pau MUST contest every single shot.

The Lakers bench really, really needs to step up. With 3 players out, the starters play more minutes because we have yet to see some production off the bench(with the exception of a few). Ariza chooses to come off the bench, which is why Phil only started him once. Sasha has been making some really stupid decisions lately, offensively and more frequent, defensively.

The starters on the other hand(with the exception of VladRad), have been playing well. Fish is always Fish but Pau and Bynum are playing like monsters. Kobe has found that bounce in his step and is choosing his shots. And with that being said, I think tonight will be a shootout between the captain of the teams.
