LAKERS vs ROCKETS (PRE-GAME REPORT)

The Lakers start their Texas Two-Step tonight with the Houston Rockets. Tracy McGrady and Ron Artest will be out suffering from injuries. It shouldn't be a problem, right? Andrew Bynum has a tough matchup against the tallest player in the league, Yao Ming. He is also one of the best centers we have. Very high basketball IQ, ability to shoot, pass, and rebound. His weakness is when he gets roughed up, let's hope Bynum goes strong to the rack and continue with his great play and consistency. Pau should come back strong tonite and continue his efficiency. His 18 rebounds against the Heat is what really made me not worry about him, he will take his shots tonight.

Jeff Van Gundy says that the Rockets are the team to beat in the west. Their record states otherwise. The Rockets are 24-15, which isn't bad at all. But the Lakers are the first team in the west with 30 wins and only 6 losses. Without their star players tonight, the Rockets look for other options on the scoring end and will throw Shane Battier all over Kobe. Don't think Kobe doesn't remember how everyone says Battier is the new "Kobe-Stopper." Look for Kobe to just school Battier tonite. Houston, we have a problem.
