"Ring, ring, ring" This is Daily Dynasty calling for a Wake-Up call for the Los Angeles Lakers. The Lakers split the road games with a loss in San Antonio. How did they lose this game? Was it the foul called on Fish during Roger Mason's game winning shot? Or was it the travel called on Ariza when bumped by Manu Ginobli? Should Kobe taken the last shot instead of giving it up?None of the above. WAKE UP L.A.! We can blame the whole game on the questionable call towards the end. But it all comes down to one thing the Lakers failed to do. DEFENSE. If they had played just a little more defense, just a tad bit more(even closing on an open 3-pointer), it would have been a different game.

This was a good test for the Lakers. Though splitting the road games, they did a good job on playing tough back to back games while plagued with injuries. It's a tough loss, a very tough loss, and though I'm sad for it, I'm also kind of glad. Our past several wins were a bit shaky, and I hope this loss wakes the Lakers up. The Lakers need these losses to remind them to put more effort on both ends of the floor. Up next, some more revenge on the Orlando Magic. Who now is only half a game behind us. After this loss, I expect to see some fire in some eyes, especially playing a team they've lost to before.
