LAKERS vs HORNETS (POST-GAME REPORT)

LAKERS 105 HORNETS 116

Kobe Bryant played out of his mind tonight. Too bad he didn't continue into the 4th quarter. 39 points, 4 rebs, 7 assists. All in vain. Tonight the Lakers lost to the Hornets.

David West was remarkable with 40 points and 10 rebounds. Chris Paul has proven again how truly talented he is. 32 points, 15 assists and 0, yes ZERO turnovers. These 2 pretty much took the game from us. Pau Gasol didn't show up in the first half shooting 0-4, he finished with 10 pts and 8 rebounds. Andrew Bynum was somewhere hiding with 7 points and 8 rebounds. Unacceptable play from our bigs tonight, there are no excuses. Lamar was getting off to a great start with 12 points, but hyperextended his knee from a bad landing before halftime.

A great game to watch, until the final buzzer sounded. It still stings. It looks like the Lakers get comfortable after winning streaks. Maybe it was because we beat NOH on their home court twice, but tonight you can definitely tell that the Hornets wanted to prevent that from happening at Staples. I still don't believe they can beat the Lakers in a 7 game series, I still don't believe they are good enough to contend for a championship. They did have a great game, when I say they, I mean Chris Paul and David West. Kobe will mark the next time he meets Chris Paul and drop 50 on him that day, mark my words. Next up, our old pal Ronny with the team named after him, the Warriors.
