LAKERS vs PACERS (POST-GAME REPORT)

LAKERS 121 - PACERS 119

Ok so I said we'd win by 20 tonight, I meant 2. There was no defense from both teams throughout the game. I mean both teams shooting at 60%, you've got to be wide open. The Pacers tested the Lakers weakness in spreading the floor with a big man shooting 3's. They prospered. Troy Murphy scored 24 points and was 6 of 9 from the 3 point line like he does it all the time. Danny Granger scored 28 points but fouled out in the 4th quarter trying to swipe at Kobe. Who does that? Know your rank Granger! Kobe, Kobe, Kobe. Our MVP did it again. 3 rebounds shy of a triple double. 13 assists (season high) and 36 points, including the game winner over Jarret Jack (Ne-Yo) with 3 seconds left. Which eventually led to an inbound play in which Jeff Foster looked like Luke Walton with INDECISION written all over his face. Thank the Laker Gods it went in his hands.

Our bigs came through tonite. Mr. Efficient doing it big again. 9-13 from the field with 21 points and 11 rebounds. He is making fantasy basketball a lot easier for me. Andrew Bynum followed Pau with 20 points of his own shooting 80% only taking 10 shots. Imagine if both of these guys took 20 shots a game? We got a little something from everyone off the bench tonite. Trevor Ariza was perfect from the line and ended with 10 points. Josh Powell got some decent minutes off the bench and showcased some of his skills with 10 points 2 boards and a steal. Sasha had 8 points but took 12 horrible shots, he needs to take a little more time and read the floor better to back up at the 1 spot.

This starts the revenge weekend. A victory over the Pacers is a given, they haven't won at Staples EVER, although it took a little extra push to get the W. Next up, Miami Heat. I know Kobe accepts the challenge from Dwayne Wade and wants to get a little revenge after losing in Miami a couple of weeks ago. If it goes down to the wire and Kobe takes the last shot again, my money says Kobe drains nothing but net, but let's hope it doesnt' go down to that. We have to feed the bigs inside again since the Heat have lack of post men. Thank you in advance Miami for our 30th win. =)
